To the market we go

Yesterday we decided as a family to take an outing, since it's still cold there weren't many choices so we decided to go to the North Market and get lunch. There were so many sites to see and Cora seemed to really enjoy looking at all the people. She also got many comments on how cute our lil one is. One guy even wanted to pinch her cheeks...but refrained saying I wouldn't want anyone to just come up and pinch mine so I won't do it to you :)

Rice Cereal= YUCK!

I was so excited for the first attempt at food with Cora, Dr. Rob asked me to wait till she had her 4 month visit with him, so I did. But I was ready, I had given her a spoon to play with so it was foreign, I had the rice cereal bought and couldn't wait. She's always been a good eater so I thought she'll love this, big girl food (well sorta).

Cora on the other hand...loves the spoon, hates the cereal!

mommy + floor = big smiles

So I don't get in front of the camera much but Chas took these of "mommy time." Cora loves the floor, she will lay and kick her feet forever and watch tv upside down at times.

4 months...Rollin..rollin...rollin

Cora's four month visit was just as good as the last, Dr. Rob said she couldn't be anymore perfectly healthy, which mommy liked hearing. She weighed 15 lbs 14 oz, was 25 1/2 inches tall and her head was 17 inches.
We found her weight to be very funny, because this is the same amount that he cousin Ev weighed at 6 months, and mommy always thought he was a chunky monkey.

Dr. Rob also told Cora that she was told young to start rolling to her belly yet...at 7pm that night she proved him wrong!

Just because...

I've been advised to take a ton of pictures while Cora is little because it doesn't last forever...so here are a few cute ones that aren't particular special in nature but will warm your heart nonetheless.

TV with Daddy

Cora, like her father, loves TV. In the morning she watches music videos with mommy and at night she watches Soccer and Wrestling with daddy.

Musical Feet

Grandma Becky bought Cora this great toy for Christmas. It's very neat she can stand up in it and later we can take the seat out she can just play with the tables. There are piano keys under her feet and she can play us a tune, usually while we eat dinner, now only if we can get her to play more than the yellow and purple keys :)

The Taming of the Tongue

Cora has found that she has the most interesting thing in her mouth ...her tongue.

off to Grandmother's house(s) we go...

Yes Christmas day we did our traditional split between the McCutcheons and the Bushongs...it was great to see each side of the family and let them spoil their first grandchild a little.

The excitment of Christmas wore someone out
